I am a fifty-something-year-old who has been going to the gym for five years before training with Marcin and I thought I was relatively fit and fairly content with how I looked. I wasn’t going to be enthusiastic about watching what I ate so Marcin had a tough job to change my attitude. I have always started ok with diets but then comes the crash and the binge and the usual I’ll start again tomorrow or Monday. I was of the mindset that cardio was going to help me with my shape and weight. Marcin has changed my whole outlook on how I exercise as he plans out my programme that works and gains the results and is so meticulous when it comes to technique, he explains why the small adjustments matter, which I had not previously come across in a trainer. Marcin has educated me which has changed my attitude to eating and how I manage my diet, showing me results that I would not have believed possible. I am currently on my highest ever calorie intake and by following Marcin’s direction where he explains the reasons and is always patient and encouraging, has resulted in a significant fat loss. Marcin has such a vast knowledge not only on the fitness and diet side but also on how it will contribute to the mental wellbeing and researches the physiological aspects going into such detail of making sure what he does is right for me, resulting in my complete trust to do what he suggests. I can honestly say I have never been fitter or stronger and I owe the changes to the continuous backing and support of Marcin, I had been an advocate for quick-fix diets and supplements that do nothing but deflate self-esteem and give rise to a lack of body confidence. I now have confidence about how I look, and this is through achieving the right way to lose fat and build strength and I have been given so much more than a PT session, I have been given a lifestyle choice that will help sustain my health and wellbeing for the foreseeable future. At the start of this journey, I thought I would get a good trainer who was fantastic on technique and strength training, but I underestimated what Marcin would be and do for me, I cannot recommend Marcin highly enough. In the time I have been training with Marcin I have lost 9cm from my waist and 6cm from my hips. My body fat has reduced by 7.5% Through Marcin’s ability to push and motivate me I have accomplished so much more than I thought possible with his dedication and expertise to make a better me, he is the most passionate trainer I have ever met, always eager to learn the latest research and share with all who are willing to also listen and learn.

I began personal training sessions with Marcin 12 months ago. Following changes in circumstance, I went from having quite an active lifestyle to a much more sedentary one. I wasn’t a particularly ‘bad’ eater, but I enjoyed my food and beer. This, coupled with with inactivity, meant my body began change and I found myself dwelling on the negative image I had of my body, especially the body fat I was starting to accumulate. I wasn’t a big gym-goer prior to meeting Marcin, and had never used the free-weights area before. I didn’t feel at all confident in the gym and so, after explaining my main goal was to lose body fat, I started training once a week with Marcin and on my own in-between sessions following a structured programme that Marcin wrote for me. Marcin also set me nutritional goals through a mobile app in which I logged my daily nutrition. With Marcin’s help my body fat has reduced from 23% to 18% and I have lost 8cm around my waist. My confidence in the gym has increased along with my strength, and the tone and definition of my body has greatly improved. Logging my food really made me think about my portion sizes and the types of food I was consuming. I would highly recommend Marcin as a personal trainer. He brings sincerity to every session and is easy to connect with. Marcin has a deep passion, understanding and extraordinary knowledge of nutrition and the physical and psychological aspects of training, and his motivation pushes me to achieve the best results I can.
